About Us

The La Trobe University Bookshop has three stores located at the Bundoora, Bendigo and Wodonga campuses of the University. We also provide text supply services to faculties at Mildura, Mt Buller, Shepparton and overseas campuses of the University. The Bookshops are owned and operated by the La Trobe University. Our mission is to support the teaching and learning objectives of the University through the provision of a high standard of service delivery for texts and related materials.

The Bookshop also provides a wide range of non-text products and services and welcomes visitors to this site and to our stores. See contact us for details.

Mail Orders/Special Orders

With access to all publishers and distributors within Australia and links to an extensive range overseas, if a book is in print we will make every effort to get it in for you. We can also arrange to mail books out to you if visiting the shop is a problem. Get a quote through the book request form.

Payment

The Bookshop accepts cash, cheques* (must present signatory ID), EFTPOS, Bankcard, Mastercard, Visa, Amex and Diners cards. Business, Schools, Institutions and Government Departments may arrange to have account facilities established.

*Please do not have cheques made out until you know the exact cost as we cannot give change on cheques.

Web Orders: We now offer a secure payment site, so your personal information will be protected when submitting an order. For more information see http://www.verisign.com.au/trust/. Overseas orders must be paid by bank cheque.

Pricing Policy

Prices shown on this website are shown after discount where applicable and include GST i.e. at the price you pay. A 10% discount on Australian recommended retail prices applies to most titles over $30, however some titles are offered at recommended retail or at an overseas price converted to an $AUD price (plus shipping transfer changes) for imported titles. Please note that every effort is made to ensure prices shown are correct: however book prices are set by publishers and are subject to change without notice. This may apply particularly to out of stock items.

The information provided by you is used only for the purpose of processing your order. Returns Policy

General Books:
If you have purchased the wrong item you may exchange with another or receive a credit note which is redeemable within the following 12 months (replacement credit notes will not be issued). Returns must be made within 2 weeks of purchase, be in mint condition and be accompanied by proof of purchase. Faulty or misbound goods will be exchanged or purchase price refunded. Goods covered by a manufacturer's warranty will be accepted for replacement or repair by the Bookshop, on behalf of the manufacturer, provided that these goods were sold by the Bookshop.
